What’s New With NIO in February 2025

NIO Inc. Delivered 13,192 Vehicles in February, A YoY Increase of 62.2%
NIO Inc. delivered 13,192 vehicles in February 2025, representing an increase of 62.2% year-over-year. The deliveries consisted of 9,143 vehicles from the premium smart electric vehicle brand NIO, showing an increase of 12.4% year-over-year. 4,094 vehicles from the family-oriented smart electric vehicle brand ONVO. As of now, NIO Inc. has delivered a cumulative total of 698,619 vehicles, of which the NIO brand has delivered 667,897 and the ONVO brand has delivered 30,722.

1 NIO House, 60 Power Swap Stations and Charging Stations Opened Globally in February
In February, NIO opened one NIO House globally and deployed 36 Power Swap Stations and 24 charging stations. As of February 28, NIO had built 181 NIO Houses, and 3,201 Power Swap Stations worldwide, with 970 Stations on expressways in China. NIO had completed 4,395 charging stations and 25,599 chargers, and connected to 2,630,000+ third-party chargers, and had offered over 67 million power swaps to users in total. NIO had launched 78 Power Journeys routes in China and two routes in Europe.

1st NIO Power Swap Station in UAE Put Into Operations
On February 26 (local time), NIO’s first Power Swap Station in the UAE was officially launched in Abu Dhabi. This marks another significant milestone in the expansion of NIO’s local service network following the opening of NIO House | Abu Dhabi in November last year. This battery swap station provides local users with a smart, efficient, and convenient recharging experience.

NIO Power Opened Its Charging Network to GWM
On February 14, Wuhan NIO Energy Co., Ltd. (“NIO Power”) and Great Wall Motor Co., Ltd. (“GWM”) officially entered into a charging service agreement. Under the agreement, NIO Power opens its charging network to users of four brands under GWM: HAVAL, WEY, ORA and TANK, offering extensive charging services that are convenient to search and access.

NIO’s Proprietary Aluminum Alloy Entered Mass Production After Validation
In February, NIO completed comprehensive validation of its proprietary self-hardening aluminum alloy for high-pressure die casting (HPDC). This material has been successfully applied to the manufacturing of the body-in-white (BIW) of NIO ET9 and ONVO L60. NIO shares this alloy technology with the industry, aiming to promote the popularity of HPDC with superior performance and enhanced cost-effectiveness.

Daily Battery Swaps Exceeded 130,000 During CNY in China
During the Chinese New Year, NIO provided 1,716,746 power swaps to its users in China, marking a 44% increase year-over-year. For 12 consecutive days, daily swaps exceeded 100,000. This saved users 1,630,908 hours (assuming 60 minutes per charge). Battery swapping is the preferred recharging solution for NIO users, accounting for 83.2% of the power replenished to vehicles on expressways.
